Criminals. Desperates. The cursed. You are part of a team of extraordinary individuals brought together for the kind of mission no sane person would accept.

A sprawling city has gone completely dark, its streets overrun by the dead and its surviving population presumed lost. Your orders are simple: get inside, discover what caused the outbreak, and uncover the truth before whatever happened here spreads beyond the quarantine zone.

Of course, getting in is the easy part. Every street is crawling with zombies, supplies are scarce, communications are unreliable, and something about this outbreak doesn't add up. Worse yet, your teammates may be just as dangerous as the creatures hunting you.

Enter the quarantine zone, fight your way through the infected, unravel the mystery, and try to make it back out alive. Can your team discover what happened before the city claims you too?

Additional Information:
Player characters can die during this game. Additional characters will be available for players to pick up if needed.

Fall of the Suzerain

11:30 AM to 2:30 PM

DM: Juan
System: D&D 5E
Level: 20
Players: 4 to 6
Player Experience: D&D Combat Experience Recommended
Tone: Action-Packed, Epic, High Stakes, Dramatic, Heroic
Pregenerated Characters: Yes
Runtime: 3 Hours

Game Description:
The prison failed. There is nothing left to investigate. Kill what came out.

The sky tears open above the ziggurat. Something with too many eyes descends through the wound, and the jungle bows beneath it. The creature has a name whispered only in failed prophecies: THE SUZERAIN, creator of the Dredge and a being with enough power to turn a normal boss fight into a war. Armies already tried to stop it. You are what remains after armies fail.

This is not a dungeon crawl. Initiative comes fast, and the entire physical pyramid is the battlefield. The Suzerain begins with thousands of hit points, devastating stacking curses, legendary defenses, flight, and ziggurat-shattering lair actions. Brute force alone will not be enough. Split across elevations, destroy Dredge pylons, survive gravity eruptions and falling stars, and create brief windows where the impossible creature can actually bleed.

Every pregen is a Level 20 legend with a named Soul-Forged weapon or world-class magic. The Paladin holds the line. The Barbarian challenges a god in melee. The Rogue races across impossible terrain. The Ranger hunts a flying nightmare. The Cleric fights healing curses. The Archmage waits for the exact second reality becomes vulnerable.

At the end, the battle enters a hard cinematic burn phase. If the Suzerain is still standing when the ziggurat begins to collapse, every surviving hero gets one final chance to decide what victory is worth.

If they can find the wizard's soul somewhere within the tower, however, they may be able to return home.
